Travel Grant Information
For Graduate Students:
UVic GSS offer Conference Travel Grants administered by the FGS on a first come first serve basis to eligible graduate students.

Please refer to the UVSS Travel Pool, a fund for academic conferences or other academic events. ​​​​
Travel
To attend PEEC 2026 all participants will meet in Port Alberni BC on the afternoon of April 3rd 21st by 5:00pm, and will travel together by convoy along Bamfield Road, a ~2 hour drive out to Bamfield. This will be followed by a return trip on the afternoon of April 5th, with a goal to arrive early afternoon to allow those heading back to the Lower Mainland to catch ferries. More information will be provided to registrants.

Room and Board
We will be hosted by the staff at the Bamfield Marine Sciences Center where the participants will stay for two nights in the Buchanan Lodge. Food will also be provided for participants throughout the conference, we will ask for any dietary requirements upon registration. ​
